midiGATEs is a MIDI effect plugin that randomly mutes incoming notes to create a more interesting, sparser MIDI stream. With four different modes, you can add variation and unpredictability to your MIDI performances and sequences.

- Gate Mode with adjustable muting percentage
- Gate On Repeats and Gate Off Repeats for creating rhythmic patterns
- Note Mode with independent muting percentage for each note in the scale
- Sequencer Mode with variable sequence length and per-step muting
- Thru Mode to pass MIDI through unchanged
- Works as an AUv3 MIDI effect or standalone CoreMIDI app
- Compatible with Audiobus, AUM, and other AUv3 hosts
