Ample China Guqin (ACGQ) offers a beautifully detailed virtual recreation of the Shennong-shaped Guqin, performed by Ning Lu and powered by Ample Sound’s advanced sampling and performance engine. With over 12 GB of rich, classical tones, ACGQ captures the subtle resonance, expressive slides, and nuanced playing techniques of this revered 7-string zither. Every string has been individually sampled, and its 17 articulations span from harmonics to glissandi and expressive vibratos. A custom-built 7-string Riffer gives users complete control over fingering, articulation, and phrasing, while a flexible tuning system adapts to any key with tonal accuracy.
